    GIRLS Aloud beauty Sarah Harding says her budding acting career is more important than releasing a new solo album.

    She starred in BBC drama Freefall last year but wants to do something darker next time.

    Sarah, 28, said: “I’d love to do something psychological, paranormal.

    “I’m a bit sort of sinister but I love comedy as well. I’ve a few things I want to do.”

    IT LOOKS like the friendship between Sarah Harding and Kate Price is well and truly over.

     

    The Girls Aloud sexpot, who was one of Jordan’s bridesmaids when she married Peter Andre, 37, has no desire to be part of the glamazon’s wedding party when she re-marries Alex Reid, 34, this summer.

     

    In fact the 28-year-old singer thought her former friend Kate had already held the UK bash.

     

    When Sarah was asked if she’d like to be bridesmaid for a second time, she laughed and said: “Er, I think once was enough! Haven’t they already got re-married anyway?”

     

     

    Er, no. They’re currently looking for the perfect wedding venue.

     

    However, it seems like Kate, 31, may have already got the hint after admitting that one-time buddy Sarah blanks her phone calls.

     

    Jordan said: “I don’t know what’s happened to Sarah Harding.

     

    “I’ve tried to get in contact and I don’t know what I’ve done to her but she never replied.”

     

    Meanwhile, gorgeous St Trinian’s actress Sarah told us she would love to unleash her inner vampire and star alongside sex god Robert Pattinson, 23.

     

    Speaking at the Jameson Empire Film Awards at London’s Grosvenor Hotel, Sarah said: “I’d love to do a Twilight film. It’s filmed in Vancouver. I’d love to go up there. I love the scenery.”

    Really, the scenery? Nothing to do with the hottest man on the globe taking his shirt off while running around oozing sexuality then?

    Sarah Harding: I’m not going solo

    Sarah Harding has insisted she isn’t going solo – and instead wants to pursue her film career.

    The 28-year-old Girls Aloud star attended the Jameson Empire Awards in London where she revealed that while the band are on a break she will not be pursuing a solo music career like Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle, but wants to do more acting.

    Sarah said: “I never said I was going solo, can I just straighten that out. I’m still wanting to do music and involve myself more in film.”

    She added: “I love thrillers. I’d love to do something quite psychological, paranormal. I’m a bit sort of sinister like that but I also love comedy as well, I love a good comedy.

    “I’ve got a few things I want to do this year. I’ve got a few bits and bobs but it’s too early to talk about, things in production and all that. There’s possible TV and possible film, bit of both.”

    But Sarah, who appeared in St Trinian’s II and BBC drama Freefall, would not be keen on a musical role.

    She said: “I’m not… I think Kimberley [Walsh] would be amazing at musicals actually. She loves musicals, she knows every single one inside out. I think I’d give that one to her.

    It was another star studded event last night as Brit celebs donned their glad rags and hit the red carpet for the Empire Film 2010 awards.

    And although many stars including Jamie Winstone and Michelle Ryan, looked fantastic (we’ll be giving you a best dressed gallery shortly) it was Sarah Harding that really stole the fashion limelight.

    The Girls Aloud singer and party girl rocked up to the event held at the London Grovsenor Hotel in a can’t go wrong little black dress with rouching detail and pink satin stripes. She completed the look with matching pink sky scraper peep toe heels.

    This weekend saw the Jameson Empire Awards 2010 with the likes of Jude Law, Ray Winstone and Sir Ian McKellan there to collect awards.

    However, the show was stolen by Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding whose new sleeker make-over had heads turning.

    However, Sarah’s new look is not in preparation for settling down and starting married life as the singer is not ready to marry her boyfriend, Tom Crane, just yet.

    The 28-year-old said: “I’m not getting married – I’m too young.

    “Who knows when we will. How long is a piece of a string.

    “I’m not in a rush.”

    And she also answered questions regarding the future of Girl’s Aloud, admitting she is as clueless as everyone else.

    Sarah told the Sun: “I can’t even tell you what’s happening.

    “We are taking a break at the moment and I know what people want to think, so let them think it.

    “As for me, I’ve got a few things in the pipeline while we take this break.

    “I admire how well Cheryl has done.”

    There was Something Kinda special about Sarah Harding’s little black dress last night.

    The Girls Aloud singer stole the limelight at the Empire awards in a barely there outfit.

    Sarah, 28, arrived at the Grosvenor Hotel in Central London with the cast of the St Trinian’s sequel. And she did little to quell rumours the band may split, saying the girls are “on a break”. She added cryptically: “We’re playing it by ear.”

    ALL eyes were on SARAH HARDING at the Jameson Empire Awards 2010, as JUDE LAW, RAY WINSTONE and SIR IAN McKELLEN were all honoured for their careers.

     

    But one man left disappointed was Sarah’s boyfriend, TOM CRANE, as the GIRLS ALOUD star told the world that she is not ready to marry.

     

    Sarah has been dating Tom for more than three years – but says at 28 she’s still not old enough to wed.

    Looking stunning as she strode the red carpet at the ceremony, Sarah confessed: “I’m not getting married – I’m too young.

    “Who knows when we will. How long is a piece of a string.

    “I’m not in a rush.”

    Talking about the other love in her life, Girls Aloud, she then admitted she’s in the dark like the rest of us when it comes to the band’s future

    During Girl’s Aloud’s hiatus, Sarah Harding has been focusing her energies on building her acting career.

    So tonight the 28-year-old singer attended her first ever film bash as an actress in her own right when she attended the Empire Film Awards.

    But with only a supporting role in the St Trinian’s sequel, Harding wisely didn’t attempt to steal the limelight with a floor-length gown and showed off her tanned physique in a cowl-neck black and pink dress and killer heels.

    Since the girl group announced they were taking a year-long break in June last year, Harding has played a rebellious schoolgirl in St Trinian’s II: The Legend Of Fritton’s Gold and BBC drama Freefall.

    Harding was among dozens of stars who dressed up for the star-studded bash at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
