Sarah Harding to release bedroom wallpaper
Plenty of young music fans around the country may be tempted by the latest decor offering to match their taste buds after it was revealed by a leading tabloid that a Girls Aloud star could be part of their bedrooms.
Instead of TV appearances, make-up lines and other cosmetic deals, Sarah is going to launch her own wallpaper line soon, decorated with “stunning” pictures of the blonde star in a bid to underline her own ambitions despite competition from bandmates, notably Cheryl Cole, whose rise to fame has been well-charted.
An unnamed source told the Daily Star that it could sell to a lot of people hoping to complement a kid”s bed with something a little different.
They continued: “Products like this are usually reserved for icons from a bygone age like James Dean, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. So for Sarah to have her picture on wallpaper at such a young age is pretty amazing.
“Designers hope to meet with her soon so she can do some fresh, new photoshoots.”
Sarah Harding has gone into a limited amount of solo work since the hiatus called by Girls Aloud, notably recording singles for the St Trinian”s 2 soundtrack among others.

THOUSANDS of teenage boys are about to see their dreams come true by getting Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding in their bedrooms.
While her bandmates have branched out into TV work and producing make-up lines, sexy Sarah, 28, is all set to launch her very own wallpaper.
Stunning images of the blonde babe will appear in a variety designs to turn fans’ rooms into giant shrines to their idol.
A source told Goss: “Products like this are usually reserved for icons from a bygone age like James Dean, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe.
“So for Sarah to have her picture on wallpaper at such a young age is pretty amazing.
“Designers hope to meet with her soon so she can do some fresh, new photoshoots.
“She has an amazing body that looks fab in photos and will look even better covering a wall. It’s going to be a massive seller.”
Sarah knows a deal when she sees one. As well as raking in a fortune over the last eight years with Girls Aloud, she owns the Kanaloa club in London’s Holborn and has starred in two St Trinian’s films and TV drama Freefall.
She also signed a £100,000 contract with Ultimo to be the, er, face of the lingerie company, following in the footsteps of Rod Stewart’s wives Penny Lancaster and Rachel Hunter.
Then there was her reported £200,000 deal with Coca-Cola for the launch of their brand Zero in Ireland, where the former Pizza Hut waitress was seen to flaunt her curves as an example of what the no-calorie American drink could bring to all her fans.
But ending up on bedroom wallpaper could be the most lucrative job she has had so far. According to a rich list published last year, Girls Aloud have earned £25million between them, making them one of the most successful UK bands of the last decade.
But Sarah has some way to go to beat bandmate Cheryl Cole, 26, who has raked in £7m thanks to her solo album, The X Factor and promoting various products.

After wowing on stage at the 02 arena Lady GaGa stepped out in a diamond-encrusted lobster hat and see-through latex dress
Lady GaGa continued her round of show-stopping outfits, even after she left the 02 stage at the weekend.
The award-winning star arrived at a party to celebrate finishing her double Monster Ball shows in London wearing a large silver sparkling crustacean on top of her two-tone blonde wig and wearing a clear latex dress with sky-scraping heels
GaGa celebrated with her friends, family, dancers and even Bruce Springstein at the Kensington restaurant Mr Chows.
Before the party, the quirky starlet performed the last of her two London concerts in which she showcased a number of breathtaking outfits, stage set-ups and showed off her impressive vocal talents.
The two sell-out concerts were attended by all the Girls Aloud singers including, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding as well as Kate Moss and Sharon Osbourne who were among the 20,000-strong crowd.
GaGa has also been seen sporting a red and black superhero-style outfit with ripped tights, black heels and a futuristic hat with black sunglasses attached to it.
What will she wear next? Who knows!
