HE had “no idea” she was lined up as his advisor, but The Voice of Ireland coach Bressie has insisted that popstar Sarah Harding offered something he couldn’t when it came to mentoring his team.
The Girls Aloud singer was brought in to help Bressie with his contestants during the Battle stages of the RTE contest, which kicks off tomorrow.
And although the former Blizzards frontman didn’t know who would be giving him a helping hand , he told the Herald he was “delighted” with chart-topper Sarah’s input.
“I didn’t even know that Sarah was my assistant coach until I arrived in |the studio that day, but as someone who’s in one of the biggest bands in |the world, there’s not much more you can ask for, is there?” asked the 33-year-old.
“Sometimes the people you want to help you are off touring or their schedules don’t work with filming dates. “I always like an artist who’s different to me, and |it’s good to have a girl too because female artists offer a different perspective.
“This is the point when people actually come into themselves and their personalities come out — choosing is hard so another opinion is welcome,” added the he added.
And the Mullingar native, who also told how told the Herald that he and Sarah (32) were getting on like a house on fire.
“She’s very easy to chat to and really easy to be around, so that helped hugely,” he said.
“You want to be with someone you can get on with, especially as you’re sitting side-by-side for hours on end.”
